Has the recession changed how people shop online?

Q> Has the recession changed how people shop online?

A> I believe it has. I think consumers want more value and they are doing more price-checking. Consumers are spending more time shopping to make sure they are getting the most of what they buy. They are also looking for deals, coupons and rebates.

The advantage WebsiteForge has for our clients is, there sites are being found higher in the Search Engines so they are getting more views. More views means more sales.

Also, WebsiteForge's Ecommerce Shopping Cart has the ability to add gift certificates, coupons, discounts and much more. All are great tools to increase sales.

One thing is for sure regarding the recession and that is that ecommerce is still out doing brick and morter and for us that is great news. Of course we still need to price things right as there is a lot of price shopping going on but not every one price shops so do not sell your self short. I call that panic pricing.

Have a great day
